In summer time one can’t take the heat and the body needs more water to stay hydrated. Here are some  refreshing drinks that takes few minutes to make and they’ll definitely cool you down when the weather heats up. If you are getting bored to drink only nimbu pani in summer here is the way out to explore new recipes to make different energizing drinks that keeps you relaxed and fresh.

  1. Lemon with Soda Float

Ingredients:-

2 pints of vanilla ice cream

36 ounces lemon soda

Method:-

It take 5 to 6 minutes to get ready. First divide the ice cream into 6 to 8 serving glasses or per requirement. Pour the lemon soda over it to fill each glass. Wait a few minutes, until the lemon soda freezes, to create a slushy coating around the ice cream.

Cucumber and Lime mixture

2 12-ounce cans club soda

1/4 cup of fresh lime juice from 3 to 4 limes

1 sliced cucumber

In a jug, combine the club soda, lime juice, and cucumber and serve with ice. For an instant cocktail: stir in 1/2 cup gin before serving. This drink will take only 8 to 10 minutes.

Lemon-Mint Cool drink

Freshly squeezed lemon juice from about 12 lemons

1/2 cup of sugar

Water 6 cups

Bunch of fresh mint leaves

2 cans club soda

Thin lemon slices for garnish

Ice cubes / crushed ice

Method:-

Place the lemon juice, the sugar, and 1 cup water in a large pitcher. Stir it until the sugar dissolves, add more five cups of water, the mint leaves, the club soda, a few slices of lemon to garnish, and ice cubes.

Traditional Lemonade

Its ingredients are just same as the Lemon-Mint Cool drink

Freshly squeezed lemon juice from about 12 lemons

1/2cup powdered sugar

6 cups of water

Lemon slices for garnish

Take a large jug and combine the lemon juice, sugar, and 1 cup water. Stir it until the sugar dissolves, then add 5 more cups water, a few slices of lemon to garnish, and plenty of ice.

Ginger lemon juice

Ingredients:-

Fresh squeezed lemon juice from 12 to 13 lemons

1/2 cup sugar

6 cups of water

3-inch piece fresh peeled and grated ginger

1/4 cup of honey

Lemon slices for garnish

Ice cubes

In a large jag combine the lemon juice, sugar, and 1 cup water and stir until the sugar dissolves, then add the ginger, honey and 5 more cups water, a few slices of lemon to garnish, and plenty of ice.

White Peach Floats

Ingredients:-

2/3 cup powdered sugar

12-inch pieces of fresh chopped ginger

1pounds ripe white chopped peaches

Juice of 1 lemon of about 1/4 cup

4 scoops of vanilla ice cream

Take a bowl and filled with ice water. In a small pan, over medium heat dissolve the sugar in 2 cups of water. Add some the ginger, bring to a boil, and cook it for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and discard the ginger. Take half the peaches and cook it for 2 minutes. Put it to the ice water for 1 minute and slip off the skins. Repeat with the remaining peaches.

Pour the syrup into a bowl and leave it to cool. Place the peaches and lemon juice in a bowl crush the fruit by your hands. Spoon the pulp into a strainer and place over a bowl and press it with the back of a spoon to extract the juice. Stir in the syrup and refrigerate it for at least one hour. Divide the mixture into 4 glasses and serve with a scoop of the ice cream on top.

Mint-watermelon Cold drink

4 cups of watermelon pieces (Take out the seeds)

1 1/2cups lemonade

1/2cup fresh mint

Method:-

In a blender, make a shake of watermelon and lemonade then strain if desired. Stir in the mint and serve over ice. It will take 8 to 10 minutes to ready.
